While billionaires and political leaders gather in Dallas this week, Team Talarico is bringing Texans together for something very different: the Love Thy Neighbor Grocery Drive, a statewide effort to collect and distribute groceries to families feeling the pressure of rising costs.
The Williamson County Democratic Party is proud to do our part, and we’re asking our friends, neighbors, Democrats, Republicans, and Independents to join us!
From September 6–9, communities across Texas are coming together to collect food and necessities. We’ll be collecting donations here in Williamson County on Sunday, September 6, and Tuesday, September 8
We’re collecting non-perishable food and necessities, including:
Canned tuna, chicken, and other proteins
Peanut butter
Canned fruits and vegetables
Boxed meals
Pasta and rice
Cereal
Diapers and baby wipes
Toilet paper and paper towels
Soap, shampoo, and other hygiene products
Clean, reusable shopping bags
WCDP will give all donations to The Caring Place to support neighbors in need throughout our community. The Caring Place provides food assistance and other necessities to individuals and families in Georgetown and northern Williamson County.
Every can, every box, and every bag makes a difference. 💙
